Project Description
Yorkshire Housing owns or manages 16,500 homes across Yorkshire which are estimated to produce around 50,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide per annum. Yorkshire Housing plans to reduce carbon emissions to zero by 2050 by investing £50m over the next five years.
As part of this project, Yorkshire Housing announced in August 2023 the investment of £200,000 in a project to replace electric panel heaters with the Ambion low-carbon system in two of its blocks.
